Many soldiers also use chemical warfare, disgorging a milky substance from their heads that repels ants.

Termites mud tunnels are impervious to penetration by ants unless they are broken open by a larger physical force such as a human, a falling branch, an itchy cow, etc. These narrow tubes resist high winds and storms!
