Most Reliable & Effective Home Termite Treatment System
Termite treatment has made a major change for the better in just the last 20 years.
It all began with arsenic dust puffed into where termites or white ants were busy eating. Then poisoning the soil around our homes was the way to go… except the termites too often got over and around the poisonous barriers.
Homeowners were excluded from participation. You couldn’t buy the products.
The best home termite treatment is now available to every homeowner It has proven to be the most reliable and effective system by professionals since the millennium. That’s 20 plus years of constant use… because it works!
It’s a system of monitoring and baiting. The homeowner version is available on-line. Same formulation, same principle and you get the same result: dead termite colonies and a defended home at a fraction of the cost. Now anyone can use this best termite control method safely because the bait is not harmful to humans or pets.
Termites at Your Place?
The two subterranean termite species that cause over 90% of the damage to Aussie buildings almost never nest inside the building.
The nest must be in direct contact with the soil for its constant source of moisture. It’s an absolute necessity.
How Do You Defend Your Home?
When a colony is developing nearby and they need more timber, the scouts go searching at night, above the ground, in the open, continuously searching until they scout that ‘right’ piece of cellulose.
That ‘right’ piece of cellulose is from wood and has to be big enough to be worth constructing their ant-proof mud enclosed tube, all the way from the nest to the new food source, this could be up to 100 meters.
Defending Your Buildings
Worker termites do their instinctive job… they search for easy to harvest timber… and build a tunnel to safely harvest it and feed the whole colony.
But, when find a ‘termite monitor‘, (which is better than they find a way to the timber inside your home), as the timber is so tasty, they follow their instincts and mud the tasty timber to protect from ants.
And the presence of termites in a monitor is much easier to spot than behind a retaining wall or in the window frame in the kids bedroom.
What is a Termite Monitor?
A Termite Monitor is designed to be placed ON the garden, ON pavers and paths, up above ground level where termite scouts are searching. The Termite Monitors have termite sized access holes directly to the timber and a hole in the lid.
The timber inside goes all the way up to (within a millimetre or two) that hole and the termites instinctively use a mud mixture to block it to prevent the loss of precious humidity.
A blocked hole, is your signal they’ve arrived. Check out this 3-minute video:
All you’ve done is place Termite Monitors, check regularly and feed termites in any monitors attacked. The termites do the rest! That’s the best termite control there is.
Ohh, you wanted to stop them eating your house…
To kill termites you need to feed them, specifically Colony Killer Termite Bait
By pushing in the mud (on the monitor lid) and immediately covering the hole with a foil bag of Colony Killer Termite Bait, the workers switch from eating hard timber (mostly cellulose) to more easily chew off a bellyful of moist alpha cellulose (containing an active ingredient which disrupts their digestion and moulting).
They know where they live, they take it there and, the queen and the whole colony dies.
Have You Found Termites Living In and Eating Solid Timber?
All you need is Colony Killer Termite Bait, a fairly steady hand and the willing cooperation of the worker termites. Check out this short video
It shows how you make a small hole in hollowed out timber, observe the termite activity inside and how you place a foil pouch of the bait over the hole so the workers have direct and secure access. They do the rest.
